Starting from Chalkida we take a short stop in the beautiful city of Lamia. Arriving at our destination in Kalambaka, arranging luggage at the hotel, then eating and then going to 2 Monasteries. Return to Kalambaka for stroll, rest and overnight. The next day, a tour of the huge vertical rocks, sculptures made by prehistoric rivers. The famous monasteries known as Meteora are perched on them. The next day, early in the morning, depart for the Holy Monastery of Saint Stephen Meteora. The katholikon is dedicated to the memory of Saint Charalambos, whose head is kept there as the most sacred and miraculous heirloom. Then we will visit the Holy Monastery of Varlaam, which has a rich collection of about 300 manuscripts.
